Adrian Dobre has more than 15 years of experimental and computational modeling experience in fluid dynamics. Adrian holds a PhD in Engineering Science from the University of Western Ontario, Canada. He currently lives in Bucharest, Romania, with his family.

Decent Introduction

This is a good primer for physics simulation using HTML5. If you are looking for a complete reference for game physics or a detailed reference for HTML5 graphics programming, you need to look elsewhere as the book does not fully focus on those aspects.
For an example, the book spends a fair number of pages on orbital mechanics of satellites and planets. The subject itself can be very interesting. It may allow you to understand better next time you hear Neil Degrasse Tyson speaking. But it's somewhat unlikely you would actually use your knowledge in planetary mechanics in your next platformer. Also, the book includes a section about modeling chain links. While that section, based on Hooke's law, is mathematically sound, the code is impractical for actual implementation. To practically simulate chains and clothes in games, you need inverse kinematics and Verlet integration, which the book does not cover.
Still if you have been away from your college level physics class for a long time and need a refresher to build your foundation, the book does the job.
